He was born in Eritrea. He studied there till grade 9, for High school went to Egypt. He completed his B.S in Science from the University of Cairo specializing in Math, Science and Physics (4 years). He studied with notable teachers of Muhammad Aziz Musa (Chemistry) and Muhammad Fouad Rajab (Maths). After completing his studies, he went back to his home country to teach at a community (Arab Community school). He taught Math, Physics and Chemistry for a decade. Due to war, he migrated to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Started teaching at King Abdullah University. He was a Physics instructor for 5 years, before deciding to come to the United States for higher studies. He joined South Illinois University at Carbondale. Finished Masters in 3 years, and PhD in 5 years. While there, he was involved with helping the community at Carbondale by mentoring them
Experience
Dr. Nafe was with CPSA for 1991 till June 2014. He taught Math and Sciences, he was chairman of Math and Science Dept. and a guidance counselor of school. He assisted 300-350 students in graduating high school with honors in science and math, who were admitted to reputed Universities across the country. Through his mentor ship, his students are currently pursuing Medicine, Computer science and Dental school in very prestigious schools like Harvard, MIT, Yale, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, University of Chicago and Northwestern. He is dedicated to his students and their goals. He works with them 24/7 Prepares the students for ACT, SAT, Math Count, AMC 8, AMC 10 and AMC 12 and Wise. Prepare the students for various national high school competitions.
